In 5 days Lil' G will be 10 months old. Hard to believe we are almost at the 1 year mark!
She had her well baby appointment yesterday and she is still topping the charts. She is now 30 inches long and weighs 20 lbs 8 oz. She is heavy to lug around all the time. Thank goodness for our new Ergo Baby Carrier, it is the best. It is incentive to lose weight, too, knowing I'm carrying the equivalent of an extra one of her around. She is pretty much at the limit of her baby carseat, but the other one won't fit in our car facing backwards. We are putting that new one in facing the front as soon as we can!
Yesterday we were out shopping at Auchan's and she was eating her delicious Gerber puffs and I heard her say, "Va bene." I was like, "What? No way did you say that! What did you say?" and she held out a puff to me and said, "va bene," then ate it. How crazy is that? She only goes to daycare one day a week (Monday) and she is already saying things in Italian!
