Cuz it’s all about me – continuing on with the catching up. The day after we returned from Turkey was my birthday. Yay!! My friend Chrise had scheduled a local wine tasting for us, and then we went out to dinner after that.
We met at Cantine del Mare for the wine tasting and it was really fun. There was another group along with us, but that made it even more enjoyable. We managed to leave after purchasing a case. Plus, since it was my birthday, we got to take home the bottles that were open but not finished! Woo-hoo!
We decided to go to Batis for dinner. When we got there we were the only ones in the restaurant, but by the time we left it was Italian eatin’ time and it was packed. It was pretty good – but I didn’t get dessert. What good is a birthday without dessert, I ask you?
