After waiting on hold for 1 hour yesterday (and being cut off at closing time) and waiting on hold for 45 minutes today I finally got a hold of the Ministry of Government Services. After what I knew would be a futile conversation this is what the lady told me:
“It’s not common sense that matters. It is legislation that matters.”
(Once again reinforcing my belief that Ministries are evil and Departments are good – or at least less evil.)
